British breakout Jessie J is making waves worldwide thanks to singles “Do It Like A Dude” & “Price Tag”. I took a listen to her debut album (Who You Are) and although I find it to be under produced at times it is a solid effort and something different from the sound we are hearing predominantly on commercial radio at the moment.
What we have here is a track called “Nobody’s Perfect” – a standout song on the album and the confirmed third single. This uptempo number is bound to be another hit for her but my prediction is that critics will focus on the lyrical content and ascribe far greater value to what she is saying and attention will shift away from the (somewhat unique) beat. Regardless you should check it out and make sure you support new talent by buying a copy of her album if you like what you hear.
