This one’s for you and me, living out our dreams, we’re all right where we should be – and now all I want to see is a sky full of lighters
Bad Meets Evil is a collaborative effort by Eminem and Royce Da 5’9” (who reunited in the studio last year ten years after their initial fallout). While “Fast Lane” didn’t do much commercially (but definitely created some buzz for the project), we now finally have the official radio single called “Lighters”, featuring the insanely popular Bruno Mars. This Smeezingtons produced track is very reminiscent of songs like “Love The Way You Lie” and “Coming Home” and impacts Top 40 radio in the US tomorrow. On first listen I must admit that I am very impressed with the track and can see it going far given regardless of the fact that it already charted in the Top 20 on Billboard and it currently sits around the Top 50 on US iTunes.
Hell: The Sequel has been out since mid-June so make sure you pick up your copy if you’re a fan of this song. Support good music, support the industry.
What do you think about “Lighters”?
