We are listening, and we’re not blind – this is your life, this is your time – I was called out in the dark, by a choir of beautiful cheats
Snow Patrol is getting ready to release a new album called Fallen Empires on the 4th of September and while details are scarce, I can treat you today to a first listen of their new single titled “Called Out In The Dark”. The uptempo indie song is not too similar to anything done by them in the past and I am happy to hear they are experimenting with different elements and sounds for their sixth studio album. It’s hard to tell whether I am 100% into the new sound at the moment but I know a couple more spins will do the trick and I’ll be listening to it non-stop.
I’m looking forward to seeing what they can bring to the table with this project and knowing them the music video should be something completely out there. Be sure to buy this song on iTunes when it becomes available in your territory and support the band if you’re a fan of this tune by getting your hands on Fallen Empires in just over a month’s time.
What do you think about “Called Out In The Dark”?

I absolutely love this song, I heard it once on the radio and had to find out who sang it so the second time I heard it (on the same radio station–go 107.1) I grasped some of the lyrics and googled it. They are awesome–definitely a huge hit.
