Pretty Damn Epic

Lana Del Rey is an American singer signed to Interscope in the US and Stranger Records in the UK. I stumbled across this song of hers – “Video Games” – on UK iTunes and it had me instantly intrigued and hooked. Released as the first single from her still to-be-announced debut album, “Video Games” is a beautiful ballad that is garnering acclaim from critics and fans all over the world and will fast catapult Del Rey into a household name. The song currently sits in the Top 10 on UK iTunes and I’m sure the fact that it recently featured on the CW series Ringer is only going to help add to the 3 000 000 hits the video has generated since it was first uploaded back in August. The music video was edited by Del Rey herself and tells quite an interesting story.

Details regarding her are pretty scarce at the moment, so before the industry grabs hold of her it may be a good idea for us to just enjoy the song for what it is. Make sure you support this song by buying it if it is available in your territory and be sure to request this one on the radio if you like what you hear.
