Now I’ll be bold as well as strong, and use my head alongside my heart – cause I will wait for you, and I will wait for you

Mumford & Sons is officially back and getting ready to promote the follow-up to 2009′s widely succesful Sigh No More! The highly anticipated upcoming twelve track release is titled Babel and will be hitting stores from the 21st of September. What I have for you to listen to today is the lead single from the album; “I Will Wait” is Mumford as we know and love them and has already been sampled to radio across the globe. The single has received a fair share of positive critical reviews and I am not one to argue with this fact considering that it does contain key elements reminiscent to “Little Lion Man” (a good thing, in my opinion) but it does feel like it can still stand on it’s own as a fresh and unique sounding track too.

Fans of the band will be happy with the song through I hope that the future singles will be able to wow like “Timshel”, “White Blank Page” and “I Gave You All” from their previous album. I will be keeping a close eye on these guys in the coming months and will keep you in the loop as to developments from the project. Produced by Markus Dravs, who worked with Coldplay on Mylo Xyloto, I’m almost certain it won’t disappoint and look forward to getting my hands on it in little over two months time.

What do you think about “I Will Wait”?
